Europeans end up as the biggest beer consumers

We always knew that Europeans, especially slavic people and balkan people are highly alcoholic and tend to live life with a sip of drink always in hand.

However, based on statistics (Kirin Holdings, 2022), European people are far outnumbering everyone else when it comes to beer consumption.

The number 1 country on the list is unsurprisingly, the Czech Republic, with over 188 liters of consumption per year, and even though it sounds impossible, these people know what they are doing.

The second one on this particular list is very close to the Czech Republic location wise, however their consumption is almost half the amount. With 101 liters of beer drinking per person a year, Austria takes the silver medal.

Our number three ended up very close to the second place, with 99.6 liters per person. This country is also European, and their special beers have already appeared on our very own website. Congratulations to Polish people!

Other European countries make the rest of the top nine places on the chart: Ireland (99.3 l), Lithuania (97 l), Spain (95 l), Germany (93 l), Estonia (93 l), and on ninth place is Romania (91 l).

The tenth place is Namibia with 90 l per person, and then the list goes on with many others from Europe again.
